Open daily, May 1 through October 31, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Weekends in November including Thanksgiving weekend, December weekends and December 26 - January 4 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Weekends in January and February, Sleigh Ride Weekends: Martin Luther King and Presidents' weekends, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Directions
from NH and MA
93 North to 89 North into Vermont.
Take Exit 1 Woodstock/Quechee.
Turn left onto Rte 4 and follow for approx.
10 miles into Woodstock.
Follow signs to Rte 12 North. Turn right onto Rte 12 and travel 1/2 mile out of town. Bear right onto River Road for main entrance.
From the North
89 South to exit 3 Bethel. Turn right onto Rte 107 West; follow for 3 miles, bearing left at the junction of Rte 107 and Rte 12. Continue for 2 miles and turn left onto Rte 12 South. Travel 15 miles to Woodstock. Turn left at the fork onto River Road for main entrance.
From the South
91 North to exit 9 Hartland. Follow Rte 12 North. Turn left on Rte 4 West. Travel 4 miles into Woodstock. Follow signs to Rte 12 North. Turn right onto Rte 12 and travel 1/2 mile out of town. Bear right onto River Road for main entrance.

Orientation Film:
"A Place in the Land," an Academy Award® nominee film is shown hourly in the Museum's 100-seat theater. It tells the story of the Billings Farm and the people who shaped it for more than two centuries.
Handicapped Access:
The visitor center, livestock barns, and farm life exhibits are fully accessible. The 1890 Farm House is partially accessible; some individuals may need assistance up the soft surface walkway and ramp; interior doors are 30" wide. Restrooms are fully accessible. Handicapped parking spaces are located near the main entrance. Wheelchairs are available upon request.
Refreshments:
The Dairy Bar sells ice cream, frozen yogurt, milk, healthy snacks, seasonal hot and cold drinks, and a Farm Picnic lunch of cheese, crackers, and fruit. Open May through October, with limited hours early and late in the season. The Museum Shop has snacks and drinks whenever the Museum is open.
Gifts:
The Museum Shop, located on the first level of the entry building, carries Vermont products, as well as an extensive selection of books and postcards.
Photography:
Personal photography with hand-held cameras is permitted. Prior approval is required for commercial photography and the interior use of tripods and related equipment. Film is available in the Museum Shop.
Pets:
Pets (with the exception of guide dogs) are not allowed within the museum complex.
For Your Safety and Comfort:
Smoking, eating, and drinking are not permitted in the buildings, or beyond the gates to the dairy farm. Please do not feed or pet the farm animals.
